Winter Warmer Lunches
2, 9, 16 & 23 November
12.15 - 1.45pm in the Wilson Room

There will be a choice of home made soups, a roll and butter, cheese with fruit then tea or coffee. All for just £5.  Everyone is welcome.
All proceeds will go to one of the church charities

20/20 Puppet and Innkeepers Service
Sunday  3rd December at 10.30am

Mary and Joseph begin their journey around the village, staying at different homes and organisations until they return to church during the Crib Service on Christmas Eve.

At the end of this family friendly 20/20 Puppet service, the first Innkeeper family take Mary and Joseph home to begin their journey around the village.

Advent Carol Service
Sunday  3rd  December at 6.30pm

Words and music are used to follow the events of Advent and to reflect on the preparation of the church and its people for the coming of Jesus at Christmas.  This is not the Nine Lessons and Carols service.

Rainbows End Pre-School
End of term Service Thursday 7th December at 9.15am

This service is especially for the staff and children from the pre-school along with their families and friends. The service celebrates Christmas and what the children have achieved over the past term.

Christingle  Service
Saturday  10th December at 4.00pm

A service for everyone but especially for the children.  During the service, the significance of the Christingle oranges is explained and everyone can make their own Christingle. The Christingles  are lit during the service as an act of light to the world.  Please bring your Christingle collection boxes to this service if you can.  The proceeds from the boxes go to The Children’s Society.

Nine Lessons and Carols
Sunday 17th December at

The traditional nine lessons and carols service with the choir and the congregation taking part in the singing of the traditional hymns. For much of the time, the church is lit by candlelight,  giving a very special setting for this service.  The Readings are done by members of various village organisations. Join us afterwards in the Wilson room for mulled wine (including non-alcoholic) and mince pies.

Christmas Service for Ewhurst C of E Infants School
Monday 18th December at 5.45pm

A service especially for the pupils, staff, friends and families of the school. The children play a major part in the service which reflects the Christmas story.

Christmas Celebrations at the Glebe Centre
Wednesday 20th  December at 10.30am

Christmas Celebrations at the Glebe Coffee Morning  with  cakes, coffee and tea, companionship and carols to sing, led by the Choir

End of Term Service for Ewhurst C of E Infants School
Thursday 21st December at 9.15am

At the End of Term service, pupils and staff of Ewhurst CofE Infant School celebrate their achievements and this special time in the Christian Year. Families and friends are invited to join the school in this celebration.

Carols at the Bulls Head
Thursday 21st December at 8pm

Come along to your local pub* and  sing along with the church choir and friends as they lead you in everybody’s favourite carols.

There will be a collection in aid of the Marie Curie Cancer Fund.

Carols round the Crib
Sunday 24th December at 4.00pm

Get into the festive spirit of Christmas with a celebration of The Nativity with carol singing, in our beautiful old church. All ages welcome.

Midnight Communion
Sunday 24th December at 11pm

A traditional choral Communion service to welcome in Christmas.

BCP Holy Communion
Monday 25th December at 9.00am

A quiet communion service to celebrate Christmas.  It uses the King James Book of Common Prayer.  There is no choral part to this service.

Family Christmas Service
Monday 25th December at 10.30am

A service for all the family, with children especially welcome. The children are encouraged to bring along their Christmas presents to show everyone. Come along and celebrate Christmas with all the traditional hymns.

Epiphany Carol Service
Sunday 7th January 2018 at 6.30pm

Follow the meaning of Epiphany, as well as the journey of the Wise Men in words and music, supported by the choir.
