From Guildford via Cranleigh:

  • From Cranleigh High Street, take the Ewhurst Road (B2127) at the “obelisk” roundabout.
  • Follow the road for about 2 miles to Ewhurst.
  • In the village, shortly after the Porche dealership (on the right) you will come to the Village car park (also on the right).
  • If you can, park there.
  • If not continue up the hill past the School and Church and take the first right into The Glebe.  It is a residential area but you should be able to find parking.

From Dorking via Ockley:

  • As you enter Ockley, pass Coles Lane on the left and turn right onto the B2126 to Forest Green and Ewhurst.
  • The road twists and turns until it comes to Forest Green.  Bear right on the Green onto the B2127.
  • This road also twists and turns until it reaches Ewhurst.
  • At the mini-roundabout by the Bull’s Head, turn left into The Street.
  • You may want to take the second left into The Glebe.  As mentioned before, it is a residential area but you should be able to find parking.  If you have the time you might want to investigate the Village car park beyond the church and school.

From Guildford via Shere:

  • Turn right from the A25 into Shere (Upper Street) and turn right into Middle Street, which turns into Sandy Lane.
  • At the top of the steep hill go left over the railway bridge and continue round to the right.
  • Continue along this road, through Bentley Copse (the single track part of the road), down past the Windmill pub, (now called ‘W’) to Ewhurst.
  • Go straight across the mini-roundabout at the Bull’s Head and into The Street.
  • You may want to take the second left into The Glebe.  As mentioned before, it is a residential area but you should be able to find parking. If you have the time you might want to investigate the Village car park beyond the church and school.

The last few yards:

  • If you’ve parked in the Village Car Park, you can either walk up through the graveyard directly to the Wilson Room or go up The Street to the top of the hill and turn right into the churchyard where you will see the Wilson Room on the right.
  • If you’ve parked in The Glebe, there is a footpath to the church in the corner where the road bends around to the left.
  • You will find the Wilson Room just past the west end of the church.
  • Alternatively, make your way back to The Street.  Turn left and go to the top of the hill where you will find the Church of St Peter & St Paul and the Wilson Room through the Lych Gate.

Disabled Parking

There is limited disabled parking in the Rectory forecourt. Please check for availability beforehand if possible, by contacting the church Office. To access this parking, turn into The Glebe from The Street and immediately turn right into the driveway of the Old Rectory Nursing home. Follow the drive, keeping to the hedge and this leads to the Rectory. Please do not park in the Old Rectory Nursing Home car park.

NOTE

There is NO public parking on the mount by the War Memorial. This is all private property, with pedestrian access only, to the church.
