Sunday Services

Our Sunday worship patterns work like this:

On the first Sunday of every month

9 am - Book of Common Prayer said Eucharist; a quiet Communion service of 50 minutes using the Book of Common Prayer and the King James Bible

10.30am - 20/20 All Age Puppet service;  This one's for the children but loved by adults too.

Led by The Puppets and the 20/20 puppet team, 20/20 is a fast moving service in which everyone is encouraged to move around, contribute prayers, sing a couple of simple songs, enjoy puppet songs and sketches, paint, make or build something fun, - all around a Bible theme. (It's not like 'normal' church which is why we moved our regular 8am service to 9am on the first Sunday in order to help people who like their worship a little more conventional but don't want to get up at dawn).

 6.30pm - Choral Evensong; Another quiet service to end the day. Book of Common Prayer Evensong with choir.

On the second Sunday of every month

8am - Book of Common Prayer said Eucharist;

10.30 - Morning Worship with Treasure Seekers; All welcome to celebrate Common Worship Holy Communion with hymns and liturgy - just as you'll find across the Anglican world!

Treasure Seekers runs for children during this service - drop the children at the Wilson Room - they join us at the end of the service for a blessing.

On the third Sunday of every month

8am - Book of Common Prayer said Eucharist; a quiet communion service of 50 minutes using the Book of Common Prayer and the King James Bible

10.30am - Morning Worship;  a fairly traditional, non-communion service with hymns, prayers, sermon - all you'd expect to see in a Church of England Church.

6.30pm - Evening Praise with Bible Study;  this varies depending on who is leading it - and usually takes the form of informal worship, guitar and keyboard led, modern choruses, seated cafe style in the Wilson Room.

On the fourth Sunday of every month

 8am - Book of Common Prayer said Eucharist;

If there is a fifth Sunday in the month

8am - Book of Common Prayer said Eucharist;

10.30 - Sunday Praise with input from the SNAK Youth Club and the Junior Choir.
